Tiger Can't Sleep

In his dark, quiet room, a little boy is trying to sleep, but that noisy tiger in his closet is making it impossible for him to snooze!  First, Tiger is noisily crunching on potato chips; then, he's bouncing a playground ball...  He evens plays music as a one-man (one-tiger?) band!  Will the boy ever manage to get Tiger to quiet down?

I Spy on the Farm

A few clues and a die-cutout that peeks through to the next page provide a preschool-level challenge for youngsters to sharpen their recognition of farm animals.  This book is fun with a crowd but would be equally fun one-on-one with a special grown-up.

Pooh's This and That

This sweet story about Winnie-the-Pooh is a good reminder that presents are nice to give, honey is yummy to eat, and pictures books are fun to look at.  Here at the library, we certainly approve that message!

Unfortunately, this book is out of print and none of the libraries in our consortium still own it.  Never fear; our office copy is in good shape, so we can continue to share it with you at storytime.

Chicka Chicka ABC

This abridged, board book version of Chicka Chicka Boom Boom is a perfect introduction to the classic picture book featuring the intrepid letters of the alphabet boldly climbing the coconut tree.  Be ready to read it again and again and again!

My Car

Sam loves his car and takes good care of it.  He makes sure it has oil, points out the different parts of the car, stops for pedestrians, and reads the road signs.  What a stand-up guy!  He drives his car to work, where he drives... a bus!

Don't Copy Me!

Little Puffin has just started out on a walk to enjoy the lovely fresh air, but Small Gull, Tiny Gull, and Baby Gull will not leave him alone!  They copy the way he walks, they copy the way he talks, they even copy the way he thinks.  How annoying!
