Students entering grades 6+ are welcome to join us for our newly in-person Debate Club! Each meeting will include a short-form fun debate, and a longer-form topic that requires some research. iPads will be provided to help participants put together convincing arguments. Strength in Differences: Parents Supporting Parents

Wednesday, May 29th, 7:00-8:00 PM

Parents and caregivers of special needs families are invited to a special evening of connection, casual conversation, and coffee! 

Please join us to meet other adults whose families may be experiencing some of the same challenges yours is, and meet with library staff who would like input on creating more inclusive opportunities for the special needs community.  Light refreshments will be served.

Enjoy refreshments, meet new friends, and earn points for summer reading by attending this live viewing of Elizabeth Acevedo's virtual author talk! This bestselling author and poet will read an excerpt from her book The Poet X and then answer questions about her writing process and inspirations.

Attendees will also have the chance to win their own copy of The Poet X! Snacks will be provided.
