In the medieval and fantastic realm of Tortall, Keladry of Mindelan is the first girl to take advantage of the decree that permits females to train for knighthood. Up against the traditional hazing of pages and a grueling schedule, Kel faces only one real roadblock: Lord Wyldon, the training master of pages and squires. He is absolutely against girls becoming knights. So while he is forced to train her, Wyldon puts her on probation for one year.
Take this opportunity to showcase your special skills! All ages are invited to join us for this special community open mic organized by some of this summer's TLC teen volunteers. Whether you dance, sing, play an instrument, recite poetry, or something else entirely, you are invited to showcase your talent here. If you're not quite ready to take the stage yourself, join the audience to support all the amazing talent East Brunswick has to offer! Light refreshments will be provided.
