Recycled Paper & Journal Craft (GR. 8+)

This is a 2-day program for teens and adults (grades 8+).

 

Day 1: Create your own recycled paper! We will upcycle leftover construction paper scraps from past library programs and give them new life. Learn how to create your own recycled paper!

Day 2: Assemble your own journal using recycled paper!

 

This program is led by TAG volunteer Eliana. Registration is encouraged to guarantee your spot, but drop-ins welcome while supplies last. Reserve your spot at 732.390.6789.

Read, Create, Participate! Challenge Begins

Earth Day and National Poetry Month collide!!

Kids in grades K-12 can participate in Read, Create, Participate to engage with poetry, think about Earth Day-related topics, and earn a small reward! 

Pick up your challenge sheet anytime the library is open.

Complete three simple challenges and bring your completed challenge sheet back to the children's desk between April 15 and April 30. 

You can claim your reward and enter the grand prize drawing for a chance to win one of two organic terrarium growing kits!

Give Me a Sign

Lilah is stuck in the middle. At least, that’s what having a hearing loss seems like sometimes—when you don’t feel “deaf enough” to identify as Deaf or hearing enough to meet the world’s expectations. But this summer, Lilah is ready for a change.

Self-Care BINGO

Join staff from New Jersey Statewide Student Support Services (NJ4S) for a conversation about the importance of self-care followed by a game of Self-Care BINGO to inspire your own routine!  Prizes and refreshments provided.
