Little Miss P: The Second Day by Ken Koyama

Little Miss P: The Second Day by Ken Koyama is the second book of the series “Little Miss P” where Little Miss P goes and interrupts people's lives. During this book, some new characters are introduced that play a similar role to Little Miss P that represents other things like (Ovarian Cyst, Ovarian Cancer, Uterine Cancer, Endometriosis, Cervical Cancer, Uterine Fibroids, Endometrial Polyps, Cervical Canal Polyps, and Adenomyosis). One of the stories I sound interesting was the short story on where a school district stops separating boys and girls for sex ED to try and inform male students on periods as well. This results in the students feeling more comfortable and makes periods less of a taboo subject. Besides your normal stories about women on their period, an alien is introduced, who got abandoned by her mom and got sent to space to start a new life. She plans on starting a family with a monster whom she is in love with. And when they do they find a planet to call home. I give this book a 5/5 because of how diverse the topics are covering issues outside menstruating issues like bullying, suicide, making friends, planning for the future, and finding what makes you unique and special. I also liked the drawings at the end of each story which shows you what happens once the story is over. I recommend this book for people who just want a good laugh and for people who enjoyed the first book.
