Lore Olympus Volume 1

Lore Olympus is the #1 Webtoon Phenomenon! Take a dive into volume 1, where there are crazy parties, gossip and forbidden love. Take a peek and see Rachel Smythe’s modern take on the famous myth between Persephone and Hades. The pages are filled with beautiful art and colors, making readers pause to look at the art before flipping to the next page. The story is centered around Persephone finding her own place in the world. From having a controlling mother, Demeter, and being a candidate for The Goddesses of Eternal Maidenhood, Persephone sure has a lot on her plate. To make matters worse, after she met Hades at the party Artemis brought her to, she developed a crush on him! Hades, too, plays an important role in this story. He has to deal with his other 2 brothers, Minthe and politics. I originally started reading this graphic novel because I was into Percy Jackson. However, I was pulled in and finished the book on the same day that I started reading it. The pacing, art and storytelling really is amazing and can keep you on the hook, longing for more. This book is for everyone who is interested in Greek Mythology, art, romance and drama.
