NerdCrush
Happily Ever Afters meets You've Got Mail in this geeky, Black Girl Magic filled debut romance about cosplay and finding the courage to be yourself.
Ramona Lambert is a typical shy, artistic sixteen-year-old. She has a best friend whom she’s known since they were in diapers; parents who love her; a love for cosplay; and a crush on the cute boy in her class.
The only problem? Her best friend moved away; her parents don't quite understand her love of cosplay; and she is pretty sure her crush has no idea she exists.
One Day Choir
Join the East Brunswick Arts Commission and the East Brunswick Public Library for the opportunity to sing in a choir for one day only. No auditions required!
Hiking Safety - Preventing Search and Rescue (PSAR)
When you go on your summer adventures, know how to be safe in the woods! Hiking and climbing is a great way to exercise, explore, and hang out with friends, but it's easy to get hurt or lost if you don't prepare ahead of time. Join members of local nonprofit New Jersey Search and Rescue (NJSAR) to learn what preparations you can take to avoid having to call Search and Rescue teams to get you home! This presentation is ideal for parents, caregivers, families, and children of all ages.
Rope Rescue Demos
Join the Mountain Rescue Unit of local nonprofit New Jersey Search and Rescue (NJSAR) for demos of the climbing and rescue equipment they use to help lost or injured people in the woods.
