Teens

Teen Yoga

Yoga is more than doing poses. Yoga is the union of the body, mind, and spirit. Practicing yoga gives you strength in body, peace of mind, and a joyful spirit.

Teens today have a lot on their plates, with super competitive academics and sports, packed schedules, and parental pressure.

Join this 30-minute teen yoga class to chill out and get in tune with your body. This class focuses on breath work, stretching, relaxation and yes, some postures, such as standing poses, forward bends, balance poses, twists, and seated poses.

Bring your own mat or use one of ours!

Cricut Explore Air 2 Maker Kit

EB Create has a Cricut Explore Air 2 available for circulation. The Cricut is a custom cutting machine that allows the user to create handmade stickers, decals, cards, and more. This kit includes everything needed for the patron to get started besides consumables. Patrons will be responsible for providing all materials, such as adhesive vinyl, iron on vinyl, fabric, etc. Patrons will be provided with an iPad with the Cricut app and Cricut Access. If they prefer to use a desktop, they will have to download the free version of Cricut Design Space onto their own device.

Teen Action Group

Looking to volunteer at the library? Attend a TAG meeting to find out about all the volunteering opportunities for teens at the library. Have a say in the library's collection, help plan new programs and events, and participate in creative activities. Each meeting attended counts as 1 hour of community service.
