After Paheli escapes a terrible fate, a magical boy gives her access to the Between, allowing her to collect other women of color, hurt by men, and lead them when the boy is in peril.
Every generation, seven families select a champion to compete in a tournament to the death for control of high magick--the most powerful resource in the world--but this year, a salacious tell-all book draws reporters, tourists, and government agents to Ilvernath to watch the bloody curse unfold and some of the champions are determined to thwart their destinies and rewrite their stories.

My Journey Into The Paranormal
We’ve all seen ghosts.
During September 2021, East Brunswick Public Library partnered with The Lost Souls Public Memorial Project to celebrate the diversity of our community and the sense of unity we feel with others in town, as well as to memorialize the 137 African Americans who, in 1818, were kidnapped into the Van Wickle Slave Ring and sent from East Brunswick, NJ to permanent slavery in the Deep South.
The Family & Friends CPR program teaches you how to perform CPR on adults and children, and how to help an adult or child. This course is designed for family members, friends and members of the general community who want to learn CPR but do not need a course completion card.
Adults and teens ages 16 years and older are welcome and encouraged to attend!
