Kids

Kindness Rocks (Gr. 1+)

Join us to paint your own kindness rocks. Kindess rocks can be kept for yourself or hidden somewhere outside for others to find! This outdoor program is for kids entering grades 1+. Masks will be required for everyone entering program rooms above the age of 2, including all adults.

Nature Fossils (Gr. 1+)

Join us and search around outside for some cool shapes in nature to turn into fossils using modeling clay. This program is for kids entering grades 1+. Masks will be required for everyone entering program rooms above the age of 2, including all adults.

Outdoor Family Storytime

Join us for an in-person OUTSIDE storytime for the whole family with stories and songs! Since this will be outside, please bring chairs or blankets to sit on. For now, our storytimes will be limited to 8 families or pods per session and we ask that all adult attendees wear a mask during the program. Please register for the storytime here. In the event of bad weather, we will send you a Zoom link so you can join in for a virtual storytime.

The MoleCOOL Scientist: Magic With Chemistry

Teen Volunteer Shreya D. will show you how to use an indicator to do a magic trick with acids and bases where different liquids change color! Shreya will go through the process and give you the instructions to try on your own later! This is an informational program and you are not expected to follow along. Please register to attend here.

This program is designed for kids in grades 4th through 6th, but anyone of any age is welcome to attend.

 

The MoleCOOL Scientist: Clouds in a Jar (Zoom)
