Dog Man Buttons & Bookmarks

Thursday, October 23, 3:00PM

What happens to old library books?  Many of them end up at the Friends of the Library Book Sale, but some of them are literally falling apart from our EB kids reading and reading and reading them!  Those are too gross to be sold.  Thankfully, they are not too gross to turn into something new!

Kids in kindergarten and up are invited to this fun event to make bookmarks and buttons out of beat-up old Dog Man books!

Limited space!  Free tickets available at the children's desk beginning at 2:30 PM.

Math Facts BINGO

Kids entering kindergarten through 3rd grade can keep their brains in gear with this fun game!  We'll be practicing our addition facts while playing BINGO.  Join us for your chance to win a prize!

Autumn Craft Smorgasbord

Help librarian Suzanne make some space on the shelf behind her desk by dropping in to make a craft today!

Kids and tweens can stop by the children's desk to make a crafty leftover, while supplies last!  We have some cute owls, some coin purses, some autumn ornaments, some sunflowers, some beaded bracelets... You never know what might be available for you to make!

For kids in kindergarten and up.

Art Explorers: Watercolor Gel Crayons!

Let's explore with some simple art supplies!  Rather than focusing on a specific project, we'll try out different tools and techniques!

Back due to patron request, we'll experiment with using watercolor gel crayons.  We had a fantastic time with these back in June and many families have asked to use them again!

First we draw with them, then we paint over them with water!  These are washable paints, but please do not wear your finest!

Class begins at 10:00 and we'll clean up together at 10:45.

For ages 3 and up, with an adult.
