Dr. Knee graduated medical school from the Sackler School of Medicine, New York State Program, of Tel Aviv University. He completed his residency in pediatrics at Jacobi Medical Center of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He later completed a sleep medicine fellowship at Stony Brook University Hospital. He is board certified in both pediatrics and sleep medicine. He specializes in diagnosing and treating pediatric sleep disorders, with a special interest in pediatric obstructive sleep apnea.
SLEEP APNEA AND INSOMNIA IN THE ADULT POPULATION WITH NEW CHALLENGES DURING THE COVID PANDEMIC
Review sleep apnea and insomnia in adults. In the setting of the COVID pandemic, there may be fewer people willing to have outpatient testing for safety issues and therefore go undiagnosed and treated. Insomnia is likely worsening among millions during the pandemic for a variety of reasons.

Dr. Elshinawy graduated from the UMDNJ School of Osteopathic Medicine (Now Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine). She completed pulmonary and sleep fellowships in Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and NYU Medical Center, respectively. She currently serves as the medical director of the Center of Sleep and Breathing Disorders at Saint Peter's University Hospital and practices pulmonary and sleep medicine in offices located in East Brunswick, Monroe, and Somerset.
