The MoleCOOL Scientist: Water Bubbles

Will food science replace plastic in the future? Shreya D. is the MoleCOOL Scientist, and she's here to explain everything you need to know about making those edible water bubbles that everyone is talking about.

If you'd like to follow along at home, you'll need:

  •  1 gram of sodium alginate in 1 cup of water - blend until dissolved
  •  5 grams of calcium lactate in 4 cups of water - mix until dissolved

Teen Volunteer Shreya D. is East Brunswick's own MoleCOOL Scientist and she makes science cool!  Shreya has created several fun and informative videos all about science, and we've compiled them all on a YouTube Playlist for you.
