Free Infant CPR Training

Learn how to perform CPR on an infant and how to help an infant who is choking.  An infant is defined as a child 1 year of age or younger.  Please note, this workshop is designed for family members, friends and members of the general community who want to learn CPR but do not need a course completion card or certification.

Adults and teens ages 16 years and older are welcome and encouraged to attend!

Wellness Around the World: Atlas Travels to Greece!

Join our friends at Wellness Around the World for a fun new episode!  This time, Atlas is visiting Greece and learning all about the delicious and healthy foods kids there eat with their families.  This ongoing series is created by four medical students at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.  Follow Atlas's adventures to learn about the healthy foods and fun activities kids across the planet enjoy, as well as what their daily lives are like!

How to Keep Your Balance and Prevent Falls

Falls are a leading cause of injury and injury-related death in the elderly population aged 65+. There are multiple reasons why you can fall. Balance is one of the biggest factors affecting falls. This presentation from Dr. Rupa Patel, DPT, seeks to educate the community on what factors can increase one's risk of falling, and how to prevent and reduce the risks of falls. She will also educate how your balance is impacted and how it can be improved with physical therapy.

The HEAL team is a student run initiative that focuses on empowering the community members to take control of their blood pressure through educational workshops that focus on lifestyle factors that contribute to increased blood pressures. Also, the program aims to provide education on how to properly take your blood pressure and provide information on local resources within the community where you can take your blood pressure.
