Middlesex County Youth, are you ready to Get Hired?
Have you thought about changing careers, but shelved the idea because you worried about taking time off work to re-train? Did you know that, for several in-demand occupations, you have the option to earn a living while you train? How about the fact that you only need a high school diploma or equivalency to begin training as a Machinist, Industrial Machinery Mechanic, or Survey Technician, or a Certified Nursing Assistant, Patient Care Technician, or Phlebotomist, among over a dozen other options?
Phase 4 of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority's Small Business Emergency Assistance Grant Program provides grants up to $20,000 to small- and medium- sized businesses and non-profits that have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Pre-registration for Phase 4 reopened at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 and will remain open until 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 30, 2021. Businesses must pre-register to be eligible for grants.
The New Jersey State Veterans Chamber of Commerce and its partners will be conducting several online programs for veterans and military spouses from November 1 - 8. Events include webinars and virtual meetups with procurement professionals. Read more and register here. Check out the Chamber here.

Phase 4 of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) Small Business Emergency Assistance Grant Program provides grants up to $20,000 to small- and medium- sized businesses and non-profits that have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The American Rescue Plan Act established the Restaurant Revitalization Fund (RRF) to provide funding to help restaurants and other eligible businesses keep their doors open. This program will provide restaurants with funding equal to their pandemic-related revenue loss up to $10 million per business and no more than $5 million per physical location. Recipients are not required to repay the funding as long as funds are used for eligible uses no later than March 11, 2023.
