Have you thought about changing careers, but shelved the idea because you worried about taking time off work to re-train? Did you know that, for several in-demand occupations, you have the option to earn a living while you train? How about the fact that you only need a high school diploma or equivalency to begin training as a Machinist, Industrial Machinery Mechanic, or Survey Technician, or a Certified Nursing Assistant, Patient Care Technician, or Phlebotomist, among over a dozen other options? Through Middlesex College’s Apprenticeship programs, you can prepare for an exciting and lucrative career in Healthcare & Allied Health or Advanced Manufacturing fields – and Earn While You Learn!
Middlesex College, together with the New Brunswick Public Library and the Middlesex County Office of Career Opportunity, will be holding a virtual workshop on Thursday, June 10 at 10:00 AM via Zoom, with live speakers and an opportunity for you to get answers to all your questions.
Speakers include John Miller, Program Manager, and Yarelis Figueroa, Marketing and Outreach Coordinator, both from the Career Advance USA grant focusing on Advanced Manufacturing, as well as Program Manager Torsten Schimanski from the New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program (NJMEP) and Success Coach Lisa Haskins from Middlesex College.
