Recycled Paper & Journal Craft (GR. 8+)

This is a 2-day program for teens and adults (grades 8+).

 

Day 1: Create your own recycled paper! We will upcycle leftover construction paper scraps from past library programs and give them new life. Learn how to create your own recycled paper!

Day 2: Assemble your own journal using recycled paper!

Read, Create, Participate! Challenge Begins

Earth Day and National Poetry Month collide!!

Kids in grades K-12 can participate in Read, Create, Participate to engage with poetry, think about Earth Day-related topics, and earn a small reward! 

Pick up your challenge sheet anytime the library is open.

Complete three simple challenges and bring your completed challenge sheet back to the children's desk between April 15 and April 30. 

You can claim your reward and enter the grand prize drawing for a chance to win one of two organic terrarium growing kits!
