Drop by the children's library to create an autumnal scene (while supplies last). Be as creative as you want!
Get ready to trick-or-treat and design your own tote bag! Available to grades 4+. Registration Required.

Kids ages 2 and up, with their grown-up, are invited to make a quick, beautiful, not-too-messy project. This month we are making scarecrows! Clean up at 11:00!
Kids and tweens can drop by to make a simple coin purse using basic lacing or sewing skills. Perfect to give as a gift or keep for yourself. Drop by between 4:00 and 5:00 to get started. We'll clean up together beginning at 5:00.

Each October 3, World Smile Day, a holiday that encourages people to be kind to each other, is celebrated. For our part, the library is treating our young friends to a punny act of kindness by giving out children's toothbrushes and tooth-themed coloring sheets! Stop by to show us your smile and pick up a treat for your pearly whites!

Did you know you're unable to see color in red light? Drop by the makerspace to paint a halloween ceramic craft. You won't know what it looks like until you leave the room! Free tickets are required and will be given out starting half an hour before the program at the children's desk.
Brave treacherous parkour challenges to test your agility and escape the haunted mansion. Descend into the cursed mine to unearth rare ingredients and brew powerful potions then team up to unleash your potions in an epic showdown against witches and their minions. Finally, design your own magical witch’s hut. This program is for students grades 3+. Registration is Required. Click here to register.
Immerse yourself in a stress-free evening created just for tweens. Participate in a variety of relaxing activities, such as arts & crafts and yoga. Stop by and visit some therapy animals, including a miniature horse.
Learn how to take care of your mental health with a special presentation by NJ4S. Talk to the library's social work intern and professionals from Soluna, a mental health app for tweens and teens.
There will be free pizza and make-your-own ice cream sundaes! Each attendee will receive a goodie bag at the program's conclusion (8:30pm).
