It is easy to make your own cloth face mask. All you need for this project is 100% cotton fabric and either elastic or string to secure the mask to your face. We use a sewing machine to sew the mask in this video but you can hand sew your own mask as well. Now that it is spring, it is a perfect time to start a garden and we have created a video to show you how to make a newspaper seed planter. Not only is this a great way to upcycle old newspaper but once your seeds have sprouted, you can put the entire newspaper planter into the ground or transfer it to a larger pot and it will simply decompose as your plant grows through the summer.
