Basics of Mandala Design (Gr. 3+ ZOOM)
Get ready to create something aesthetic and beautiful during our Virtual Mandala art session! This is a virtual program held via Zoom for students grades 3+. Click here to register.
During the session we will create some intricate shapes and patterns and bring them together, creating a lovely Mandala design!
Participants must provide their own supplies:
- White mixed media paper (White Printing paper can be used too, to learn the basics of the art)
- Colored Gel pens (simple colored pens, thin colored markers can be used too, to learn the basics of the art)
- Pencil, eraser, ruler, sharpener (if needed)
Komal is a self-taught artist, with a zeal to create life on canvas. Painting has been her hobby since childhood, now turning into her passion with each growing year. Color is one of the vital characteristics of her work, which adds perspective, contrasts and above all, elegance to her creations. Water colors, acrylics, Colored pencils, markers, clay, brush pens are some of her favorite art mediums. Her aesthetic sense and the love for art have led her to the trail of graphic designing as well. Alongside, she pens down some poetry/stories and loves to sing. She has recently been appointed as a member of East Brunswick Arts Commission. She has been participating in various art exhibitions and conducting virtual art and craft sessions for kids as well as adults with some reputed organizations.
