Learn how to use Makey Makey “an invention kit for the 21st century” that can be coded to transform everyday objects into buttons that interact with a computer. Use a banana as a trivia buzzer or upcycle materials to create your own video game controller…the possibilities are endless!
Fees for computer class registrations are NOT refundable; However, if circumstances dictate that the library must cancel a class, registration fees for enrolled students are refundable.
Adults - Week of Making: How to Hem Your Pants.
Learn how to hem your pants with one of our new sewing machines! Please bring one pair of unlined pants already marked.

Cross Stitch a Wooden Pendant Necklace.
Kick off our Week of Making by creating a cross stitched wooden pendant! For ages 13+ Supplies are limited.
Use your creative skills to make your Lego Movie - Participants will use stop-motion techniques and use our state-of-the-art equipment to make a short movie. Built by Me - STEM Learning Center will bring 10 stations. Each station includes backdrop, green screen, lights, lego bases, iPad, stand, Lego figures and more Lego bricks for composing the set (see picture attached). Participants will work in pairs to make a short movie. The workshops will have a duration of 45 min: 10 minutes intro and planning + 25 min to shot the movie + 10 min to project the movies.
