TLC Information Session
The Teen Library Connection Summer Volunteer program (TLC) is for teens entering 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grades in the Fall.
TLC aims to facilitate projects that will benefit the community in partnership with the library.
Teens are invited to create their own projects, workshops, events, and more to enrich our community and the student’s own understanding of the library and their world.
The ideal candidate for this summer volunteer program is able to be self-directed but also able to work cooperatively in small groups, is motivated to create and innovate, and is enthusiastic about learning and teaching others new things.
This year there are mandatory attendance dates of May 18th for a pre-planning meeting, and June 24th - June 28th for a week of prep. Other dates will be up to the volunteer groups and the TLC coordinators but will only be held between July 1st and August 9th. If you wish to participate in this program, you must attend one of our information sessions o be eligible for this program and to receive an application. Participants will only receive an application after they have attended an information session. Applications will not be given out to those who do not attend a session.
