PC Literacy

PC Literacy I

Learn computer terminology and components, how to turn the computer on and off, and an introduction to/practice with the mouse and keyboard. Learn how to navigate the desktop and open programs as well as basics of computer storage and hardware.
There Are No Prerequisites

PC Literacy II

Learn common window elements, how to multitask by switching between multiple open programs, and how to work with files and folders to create a file management system. Learn how to execute commands using toolbars, menus, ribbons, and shortcuts as well as how to copy and paste.
Prerequisite: PC Literacy I class or the ability to use a mouse and basic keyboarding skills.
