A non-profit is a business where for-profit business principles apply for it to be able to perpetuate and sustain itself.  Whether you want to start a small, big or larger non-profit many of the practices and processes are similar no matter the size of your entity. This webinar provides the basics of starting a non-profit entity. 

We will discuss:

  • the formation
  • legal documents required
  • setting up a Board of Directors
  • IRS Filings
  • funding
  • common myths about non-profits, and
  • some valuable resources you can use

Presenter:  

Ray Lee is a certified Score Mentor with over 10 years of mentoring for-profit and non-profit businesses.  He has a financial background working in for-profit businesses, but has years of non-profit board experience during start-up formation and after start-up opening
