Fact: 1 in 40 children has too much lead in his/her body.

Fact: Lead is harmful to people of all ages.

Fact: Sources of lead poisoning include paint, toys, even spices.

Fact: You can learn more about preventing lead poisoning, and resources are available for testing and remediation.

 

Please join us for a brief presentation by Helen Shropshire and Anna Munn of the Middlesex County Office of Health Services Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program to learn about limiting household and environmental risks for lead poisoning and what to do if you believe your child may have been exposed to high levels of lead.  Your children are welcome to attend with you!
