2024 NATIONAL MEDAL
for Museum and Library Service Finalist

Roll Around the Lunar South Pole

Check out this fun app, created by local teens!

If you've taken any of the library's Tinkercad classes, you already know how amazing our teen volunteer Aditya is.  Now he and a few of his classmates have taken things all the way to the moon!

Team Cosmic Snowman, a high school team from the Middlesex County Academy in Edison, is a finalist in the NASA App Development Challenge. The team's app, Moonwalker, allows users to visualize and explore the lunar south pole.

The team members are: Aarav Agarwal, Aditya Dutt, Jason Liu, Reva Amritkar, Samuel Lihn, and Uday Vidyadharan.

Click here to try out Moonwalker.  The rover is controlled using the WASD keys: W for going forward, A for turning left, S for going backward, and D for turning right. Press the space bar to brake the rover.

Pretty cool, right?  We think it's out of this world!
