Read to a Dog
Young readers in grades K-5 are invited to read a story to a dog, thanks to the pooch-friendly folks at Furry Angels Therapy Dogs.
Each reader will spend 1 hour with man's best friend to practice reading out loud. Bring in your favorite story or check one out from The Library's collection.
Furry Angels Therapy Dogs is a nonprofit organization that trains dogs to work with people of all ages and disabilities.
