I survived: The Sinking of the Titanic, 1912

First Chapter Book Club

Apr 5 (All day) to Apr 11 (All day)

Stuck at home and looking for something new to read? The First Chapter Book Club is just for you! We'll be selecting awesome books and reading just their first chapter. If you are hooked, we'll tell you how you can read the rest of the book for free using some of our amazing online resources! The first book in the club is great for kids who like adventure stories and historical fiction: I Survived: The Sinking of the Titanic, 1912This series takes daring historical events and tells it from the perspective of a child, including battles, hurricanes, shark attacks, blizzards, and more. This entire series is available in audio format from Hoopla Digitial - free to use with an East Brunswick library card (which you can get here). You can watch the first video of EBPL's First Chapter Book Club on YouTube and look for more books later in the week.
