Reading and Planting: An Exploration of Our Environment (Zoom)

The teen volunteers of the Virtual Library Connection program are proud to offer this special virtual storytime and activity program for children ages 4 to 8 years old. 

The teens will read Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax. Children will learn about the environment during this program. Topics covered will be deforestation, ecology and how we can be mindful of our environment at home. The associated activity is to plant a marigold flower seed, to be picked up at the library.

This program is virtual and will be held on Zoom. Please register in advance by clicking “Join Event” and filling out the form in order to get the Zoom info. Please indicate if you would like a flower planting activity kit.
