The Jersey Pinelands: more than meets the eye

For many people who’ve lived in New Jersey their whole lives, this swath of land covering 20 percent of the state - commonly known as the Pine Barrens - is just a place you drive through to get to the shore!
Although its features are more subtle than the rugged land of the western states, the Pinelands are just as diverse, interesting and complex. Living in New Jersey and not exploring and learning about them is a big loss.

Join us for a screening of Kiss the Ground (also available on Netflix) and live discussion with Dr. Joseph Heckman.

• Screening: 6:30pm
• Discussion: 8:00pm

Registraton recommended, but walk-ins welcome. To register, call 732-390-6767. If possible, please bring a mat or blanket to sit on to be comfortable.

Grownups can come out for an evening of fun playing mini golf, bocce, and more! We will meet at the Bocce Court by Parking Lot 2 by the Senior Center. In case of inclement weather, we will move into the meeting rooms.
