The Wonky Donkey

Maybe it's because we're children's librarians, but we couldn't get enough of the Scottish Granny reading The Wonky Donkey to her adorable nugget of a grandson.  Watch it here and laugh until you cry!

Check out the book yourself and present your own dramatic reading; view the book in the library's catalog to see if it's checked in or place a hold on it by clicking here.

Gaming with Makey Makeys

Learn how to use Makey Makey “an invention kit for the 21st century” that can be coded to transform everyday objects into buttons that interact with a computer. Use a banana as a trivia buzzer or use Play-Doh to create your own video game controller…the possibilities are endless!

Cancelation Policy

Fees for computer class registrations are NOT refundable; However, if circumstances dictate that the library must cancel a class, registration fees for enrolled students are refundable.

It's Not Easy Being Mimi

Mimi and her cat, Marvin, live in the top apartment of Periwinkle Tower.  Her friends Yoshi and Tonya live in apartments on the 2nd and 3rd floors, and they are waiting to see who'll move into the ground floor apartment.  This hilarity begins right away, when Yoshi gives Mimi a haircut that ends up requiring her to wear a hat until the shorter (MUCH shorter) side grows in.  The first installment of this series explores new friendships while following a funny, episodic plot.

He's he-ere!

Baby Shark has finally arrived -- in book form -- at the library!  This adorably-illustrated book includes a guide for those of us who may not be so up on our dance moves.  View it in the library's catalog here if you'd like to see if it's checked in or place a hold on it.

What's that?  Now the song is stuck in your head?  You're welcome!
