Mockingbird Melody is a group of student musicians who enjoy playing music for patients and seniors in local hospitals and nursing homes. We regularly visit them to share music, and also hold annual concerts to play for them in a more formal and professional environment as well as to raise funds for their programs.
Tommy Aboussleman is a life long East Brunswick resident and musician.
Mark Miklos was born in the central NJ suburb of Edison‚ a place one would not expect to find a Bluegrass Traditionalist. Marks broad vocal range gathers groups of all ages at each show. It’s a voice that stands out in the crowd‚ one you won’t soon forget!

The boy heard his parents with them downstairs. Laughing. Schmoozing. While he lay in darkness, facing the open closet.

Suddenly, choked screams erupted from the people below. Groaning in pain, the voices warped.
“Oh no,” it said, afraid. “They’re changing already.”
How it is difficult to maintain a peaceful mind.
A deli in the afternoon. I finally get to my turn to order as a man saunters in and goes, “A meatball sandwich with extra sauce.”
A pause.
“Let me have a panini with turkey and swiss cheese,” I order.
The man turns and looks at me and says, “Oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t know.”
“It’s ok.” I smile… but am I really smiling?

The State Theater performance ended at 1AM. My lovely spouse asked can you get home in 15 minutes. On Ryders Lane I picked up speed. Turning into our driveway a police car also pulled in. The officer remarked going a little fast, where were you coming from. My response The Rocky Horror Picture Show. It is a Halloween tradition. Leaving he laughing said next year slow down. Yeah, no speeding ticket!
