Banned Books Week - Teen Raffle

How it works:

To bring awareness to Banned Books Week (September 22-28, 2024), for the month of September, any teen who reads a banned book will earn a raffle ticket! Not sure which books are banned? Check the poster in the teen space, ask a librarian, or look online for suggestions!

For every book you read, grab a raffle ticket, fill it out, and hand it in at the desk in the children’s section.

Meet with New Jersey Statewide Student Support Services (NJ4S)

Meet with representatives from New Jersey Statewide Student Support Services (NJ4S) and learn about services they provide to families with children in grades K through 12.  Stop by their table to gather info and freebies, and let them know what support your family needs.

In observance of Suicide Prevention Month, NJ4S will provide resources about suicide prevention and mental health at this event.

For more information about NJ4S, visit the NJ4S website.
