Friends of the Library Day Open House

In honor of National Friends of the Library Week, the East Brunswick Friends of the Library are celebrating with a special open house! You can learn more about what the Friends of the library do, and how you can become involved! Their work supports the special events and many of the innovative programs we offer here at East Brunswick Public Library.

There will be refreshments and snacks, as well as some special kids activities!

Hackathon (Gr. 5+)

Beginner and experienced coders can compete in our EBPL Hackathon! Please note this program is not suitable for students with no coding knowledge. There are two divisions to compete in: classic and advanced. Both require prerequisite knowledge as listed below. Students can compete individually or in groups of 2 to 3. Advanced registration is required and students must bring their own devices and chargers.

Holiday Card Bonanza

Put your artistic skills to work to paint, draw, and color festive holiday cards to brighten the season for local seniors. Write festive messages of cheer and good wishes to share with members of our local community who may be feeling particularly lonely this holiday season. After the event, your cards will be sent to seniors in and around East Brunswick to provide a little extra holiday cheer.

All supplies will be provided.
