Job Source is an interactive application that offers a wide array of features, resources and solutions to aid job seekers.  It includes a job search engine and tools to help you explore careers and write resumes and cover letters.  Register for free to save and manage your documents and track your job search.

A one-stop database for targeting companies based on geography, line of business, size, and sales volume. Contains detailed information on nearly 12 million U.S. businesses with addresses, key executives, and websites. Build your own custom list of companies for business prospecting or job hunting.  Company listings include job openings.

United Way Family Financial Opportunity Center

United Way of Central Jersey (UWCJ) has launched a Family Financial Opportunity Center (FOC) to help low to moderate income individuals and families increase their earnings, reduce debt, build assets and make smart financial decisions. FOC services include one-to-one coaching and workshops in three key areas: financial counseling, income support assistance, and employment coaching. An FOC coach will conduct a confidential intake and provide a comprehensive list of services based on their unique situation.

NJ Disability Information Hub Employment Assistance

Get help finding a new job or career with programs designed to help individuals with disabilities look for work, train for employment, and receive the supports they need in the workplace. Resources include the Department of Labor and Workforce Development’s One Stop Career Centers, the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services, the Senior Community Service Employment Program, and more.

LinkedIn Learning

LinkedIn Learning is an online educational platform with over 5,000 course videos to help you discover and develop business, technology ,and creative skills through videos. You’ll find hundreds of topics in management, leadership, and marketing. Gain multimedia, design, web development, and social media skills, too. All courses are taught by expert instructors and include downloadable exercises to reinforce retention. New courses are added weekly, privacy is TRUSTe compliant, and Certificates of Completions are available for each course.

Justice Involved Clients

If you have been incarcerated, or have an arrest or misdemeanor conviction, and are in need of employment assistance, the NJDOL can help with training, referrals, removing barriers and workforce readiness.  Each One-Stop Career Center has trained staff available to assist you. The Pathways to Recovery program provides services to individuals whose have been impacted by the opioid epidemic, including:

  • Career Services
  • Supportive Services

The program’s goal is to provide participants with skills and training to support their transition into employment. 

Pathways to Recovery offers services to the following counties: Atlantic, Camden, Essex, Hudson, Middlesex, Mercer, Morris, Passaic, Sussex, Union, and Warren.
