Please join us for a virtual educational program hosted by Saint Peter's Healthcare System
Discussion topics include:
- Assessing vulnerability and risk to depression during any of the seasons
- Identifying the presence of depressive symptoms
- Demonstrate coping skills learned to manage symptoms of Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)
Presented by Lorraine Gordon, PhD, LPC, CCTP, CDM, QIP-NJ Manager at Saint Peter’s Healthcare System.
Dr. Lorraine Gordon, PhD, LPC, CCTP, CDM is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Counselor Educator and Supervisor and an Associate Professor. She has extensive experience working in community mental health, private practice, University and hospital settings. Dr. Gordon specializes in trauma and crisis counseling; she is a certified clinical trauma professional. She is a disaster mental health and crisis counseling specialist and was an American Red Cross disaster mental health responder. She conducts seminars and retreats to mental health professionals across the USA. Dr. Gordon is an on Demand Military & Family Life Counselor (MFLC). Her clinical areas of interest include trauma, crisis management, Marriage, Couple, Family Counseling, and Multicultural Counseling. Dr. Gordon is the manager of a population health initiative program at Saint Peter's University Hospital.
