How to Read, Analyze and Understand Financial Statements

This program will explain the 7 elements of a financial statement, their purpose and how to use each to understand the company’s business, how the company makes (or loses) money and where the company keeps its assets and cash. When the program ends, you will be able to pick up a financial statement and analyze and understand it and the importance of why the numbers sections comprise 5 pages, but the written information is on 20 or more pages.  Important ratios will be illustrated and you will be shown how to calculate key ratios in 30 seconds. This program will be based on Mr. Mendlowitz’s MBA course, and attendees will receive a free PDF of his 160-page book.

Presented by Edward Mendlowitz, CPA, Emeritus partner, WithumSmith+Brown, PC and adjunct MBA professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
