Things will be different at the library

Keep in mind that your library experience will be very different. Here are some things you should be aware of before your library visit!

  • Masks must be worn at all times, as per executive order of Governor Murphy.
  • You must maintain physical distancing at all times by staying six feet apart from other library users and employees.
  • Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • The library limits the number of people in the building at a time, and encourages everyone to keep their library visit to 60 minutes or less.
  • You may not gather at the library to do group projects or hang out with friends.
  • You may not come to the library to study or do your homework. The library has removed all chairs and there is nowhere to sit.
  • The seating area in the Teen Space is inaccessible.
  • Quiet study rooms are not available.
  • The cafe is not available.
  • There will be no food/drinks allowed in the library.
  • We encourage everyone to use self-check stations to borrow materials.
  • You must return books at the outdoor bookdrops only.
