Lighthouses of New Jersey

This enlightening session will examine NJ’s 18 beautiful, unique lighthouses. Presented by the NJ Lighthouse Society, the program will discuss the different types of lighthouses, their history and the lives and responsibilities of the lighthouse keepers. Topics include lighthouse keepers, governance, purpose, and how weather affects lighthouses. Historical facts about New Jersey lighthouses and keepers who were women will be highlighted.
