NJ Department of Community Affairs provides Landlord-Tenant Information forms and publications intended to assist both residential landlords and tenants to understand their rights and responsibilities. The principal publication is Truth in Renting: A guide to the rights and responsibilities of residential tenants and landlords in New Jersey, which is available in both English and Spanish.
