Young Adult Summer Reading

Summer Reading for students entering grades 7-12

Opens June 27 and goes thru August 19.

Register at the teen desk.  Fill out the registration form, place your paperclip and registration form in the container and bring home your reading log.  Remember to bring your reading log back to the library beginning July 5 to receive your scratch off tickets.

 

You can earn scratch off tickets during the summer for small prizes and be entered into a raffle for one of the prize packages.  Scratch off tickets and redemption of prizes will be available starting July 5, so start filling out your reading log.

  1. Attend a Teen Summer Program.  Earn 1 scratch off ticket for each program you attend.
  2. READ!  Earn 3 scratch off tickets for each book, magazine, graphic novel, eBook, audiobook, you read or listen to this summer.  Write down the title in your reading log.
  • There will be one drawing with prize baskets to win.  Read a book or attend a program and get a scratch off ticket (s) that you will write down your reading log number and letter for the prize package you want to win on the back of the scratch off ticket.
  • The drawing for the grand prize for the summer will be September 7, 2022.

Please arrive 15 minutes for each program since space can be limited and it is on a first come basis and registration is strongly encouraged unless the program specifically states that there is registration.

Programs may be added so always keep watch on the library Instagram, Twitter or Facebook page, library website, dropping in to the library or calling the library.

All programs are subject to change, so please check with the library or on the library website beforehand.
