2024 NATIONAL MEDAL
for Museum and Library Service Finalist

Meet a Future Doctor!

Jul 24 - 11:00am to 4:00pm

Thinking about a career in medicine?  Join us for Day of Service, an exciting annual event when first-year medical students from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School visit the library to share health and wellness information about summer safety and meet library patrons.  This is a great opportunity for kids and teens who are interested in pursuing a career in medicine to stop by and talk with the med students about the educational paths they took to get to this point!  (Please note, medical students are able to share their personal experiences, but they are not college or career counselors and cannot provide specific advice.)

The students will also be sharing giveaways and wellness information for kids, teens, and families.  Library staff will also have fun health-related craft projects for kids to complete!

Stop by between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM!
