Join us in-person for an informative discussion of the types of records available at the New Jersey State Archives and elsewhere that will help with genealogical research of New Jersey ancestors. This includes vital records, wills, state census, court records and military records, among others.

Guest presenter Jon Bozard is a Senior Library Assistant with a degree in History from Rutgers University. He has been working at the New Jersey State Archives for 18 years.

Historical Shipwrecks of NJ (In-person)

Plunge into nearly 300 years of sunken vessels along the Jersey Shore as told by famed shipwreck diver Dan Lieb for this all-ages in-person program at EBPL. The noted investigative diver will divulge details of many famous ships that fell to ruin along the New Jersey coast. He will also discuss ongoing efforts to identify the remains of long-forgotten seagoing craft and discover the stories they contain.
