The library observes the National Day of Service a day early with a project the whole family can work on! Join us as we team up with Color A Smile, a non-profit organization that distributes cheerful pictures to senior citizens, our troops overseas, and anyone in need of a smile.

No matter where Mr. Snore goes at the busy Sharemore Hotel, there's something that keeps him awake. First it's too noisy. Then it's too crowded. Then it's too damp! Why is it so hard to get some peace and quiet? Perhaps the thirteenth floor of the hotel will be the spot for better luck!
If you're not one to think spelling is fun, wait until you see some of the spelling in this book! In an attempt to make English easier to read and write, Ben Frankin (you know who that is) and Noah Webster (the guy who eventually started the dictionary -- yup, that Webster!) teamed up to make our inconvenient alphabet a little more convenient. Did it work? Not really. If it did, maybe you'd regularly see something like the following excerpt from the book:
