The East Brunswick Public Library received the ANJEC 2024 Environmental Achievement Award from the Association of New Jersey Environmental Commissions. The library hosted the program, Food Choices for a Small Planet with the EB Sustainability Task Force and the Friends of the EB Environmental Commission.
The award recognizes exceptional projects carried out by environmental commissions and nonprofit organizations that benefit the local environment. The award will be presented at ANJEC's 2024 Environmental Congress on Friday, September 27th at Rowan College of Burlington County in Mt Laurel., New Jersey. The criteria for the award are the project’s impact, originality, educational value, innovation, and response to a need in the community.
