Virtual Book Discussion Group

Feb 11 - 7:00pm to 8:00pm

Join us on Zoom for a book discussion on Thursday, February 11 @ 7 PM.

We will be reading The Sellout by Paul Beatty.  A biting satire about a young man's isolated upbringing and the race trial that sends him to the Supreme Court, Paul Beatty's The Sellout showcases a comic genius at the top of his game. It challenges the sacred tenets of the United States Constitution, urban life, the civil rights movement, and the father-son relationship.  Beatty's novel is decidedly funny in a way that will make you consider the role of race in American society.
