  • Benign breast masses and indications for surgery

  • Strong family history and high-risk management

 

Presented by Sundus Abbasi, DO, Breast Surgeon, Astera Breast Care, New Brunswick & Monroe Township, NJ.

Dr. Sundus Abbasi received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, FL. Following a residency in General Surgery at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in NJ, Dr. Abbasi completed a breast surgical oncology fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper University Hospital in NJ. She is board certified in general surgery by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgeons. Dr. Abbasi is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, American College of Surgeons, American Society of Breast Surgeons, and Society of Surgical Oncology. She has presented and published research in both general surgery and breast surgery.
