New Brazilian Jazz Pop-up Diversity Concert
Join us for a diverse, pop-up concert performance with music accompaniment provided by the New Brazilian Jazz Ensemble featuring students in the Jazz Studies Department at the Rutgers Mason Gross School of the Arts. Not only will these concerts provide the opportunity for Rutgers students to be involved within their community, but also give them the opportunity to promote diversity and inclusion within Mason Gross and the community in Middlesex County.
Learn about the vast diversity within the many styles of Brazilian music and to raise awareness that the Brazilian cultural music has had a significant impact on modern music and Latin jazz.
This event will be held in the Municipal Courtyard. In case of inclement weather, this concert will be moved indoors. Bring your own chair or blanket for outdoors.
Grant funding has been provided by the Middlesex County Board of County Commissioners through a grant award from the Middlesex County Cultural and Arts Trust Fund.
