A better understanding of cancer-related conditions and how they can be managed is possible. Taught by Astera Cancer Care specialists and other local medical experts, this online presentation will address some of the most pertinent areas in cancer treatments and advancements. Discussion topics include:

  • What is thrombocytopenia?
  • What are platelets and what do they do?
  • Conditions affecting platelet count and function
  • Novel therapies in use for low platelet counts
