Life Story Workshop

Jul 22 - 7:00pm to 8:30pm

Then, Now and Forever Life Story Workshop with Donna J. Atkins

Through inspiring examples, guided activities, interactive exercises and constructive feedback, students delve into memories with ease and document their LIFE STORY. For ages 18 and older.

Donna J. Atkins is a high profile, award-winning communications specialist who has spent a lifetime working with individuals, groups and organizations in the application of narrative and storytelling.

Donna’s personal journey through this life has been distinguished by a long and storied career. The thread that has always connected the various aspects of this career has been her trademark talent for utilizing the art of storytelling and narrative to lend definition to people, products and companies. It is this ability that made her a nationally acclaimed, award-winning entrepreneur whose businesses acquired national recognition and were featured on TV and radio, in newspapers, and in magazine articles.

When Donna transitioned from entrepreneurship, these abilities propelled her to success in the corporate world in C-suite positions which included the representation of giant internet clients of an international public relations agency, high level outreach as communications director and the “face” of the president of a medical philanthropy and serving as the vice president of marketing for a New York City-based international luxury apparel manufacturer.

Donna was recruited by the University of California to create and teach a course to business leaders and graduate students on how to use the art of storytelling and narrative to put them and their ventures “on the map.” She is a motivational/public speaker and a former magazine and newspaper columnist.
